In this relaxing, mountain retreat style setting, Ganfield Therapeutics in Gurnee, IL has achieved a spa like setting with expert Physical, Occupational, and Massage Therapists specializing in Myofascial Release as taught by John F. Barnes,P.T. The Physical and Occupational Therapists treat under doctor orders and provide statements for insurance reimbursement. Physician orders are not needed for the highly trained massage therapists and Myofascial Release introductory packages are available.

We treat:
- Back and neck pain (pre and post surgical)
- hip pain, sacro-iliac pain, scoliosis
- headache, jaw (TMJ) pain, Fibromyalgia, whiplash
- shoulder and arm pain
- carpal tunnnel and tennis elbow
- post fractures and scars

- leg length discrepancies and pelvic asymmetries
- poor postural alignment and overuse syndromes
- female pelvic pain and dysfunction
- children through older adults
- We now have MFR stretching classes
- We now offer Hypnotherapy and Raindrop Therapy.

    We would like to congratulate Lisa Wheeler, RKT, on her acceptance and enrollment in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Wilbur Wright College. Her additional certification will be a welcome addition to the practice.

    In addition, Lisa Ganfield is now a CKTP (Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner) as of June 1, 2006. This is a great complement to her skills and experience, giving patients that little extra to assist in recovery and mobility.

    In December, 2007, Lisa completed three levels The Upledger "Visceral Manipulation" course in Chicago. This hands-on form of releasing internal organ restrictions will be of great benefit to patients and a welcome addition to the roster of therapies offered here. Lisa also now has advanced dialoging skills in Heart Centered Therapy (HCT1).

    We now offer Raindrop Therapy, which has shown to be very helpful with scoliosis, spinal conditions and a good way to detox. Raindrop Therapy uses drops of specific essential oils, applied along the spine, to the feet and other areas then massaged into the skin. This is usually performed as an addition to therapeutic massage, by our CMT/Reflexologist, Gordon Russell.
